Our 3 ring circus: 2/1/09

My kids are totally obsessed with the Twilight soundtrack. They are constantly requesting it. This is them singing their favorite song, track 5 by Mutemath. They call it the Aaaawwww song.

The crazy things they say

January 2010

Trying to get Greg to eat a vegetable at dinner.
"I had a vegetable tomorrow, I don't need one anymore"
(Tomorrow is Greg speak for any previous day, no matter how long)

October 09

My conversation when I called home to talk to Dave
"Hi Ha can I talk to Daddy?"
"NO because he's a big meany poo poo head. He knocked down our tower. He's a big fat stinker pants"
She then proceeded to go on for 5 minutes with more mean names for Dave until he commandered the phone.

"you want me to be cute lots mommy? you should buy me more kachows"
-Greg after I'd bought him a new Lightening McQueen which to his credit he thanked me profusely for all day

We were standing in the hall getting ready to leave church on Sunday. Hailey asked "are we leaving church now mom?" When I answered "yes" she jumped into a big lunge, threw her hands in the air, and yelled "YES!"

"Its ok mommy you can have some of my cookie its really yummy. I still have some on my face you can lick it off"
I was teasing Greg about not sharing his cookie from primary with me on the way home from church

" I don't want to stay home with daddy, he's mean to me" Why "He puts my jammies on and makes me brush my teeth"
Poor Greggers the neglected child

"Heavenly Father, please bless my mommy to be nice."
Hailey after she went bawling to her room for not letting her do what she wanted. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

" I no have mommy shoes, I have boy shoes!"
After a particularly clingy day when my dad and I asked Greg if was having mommy issues

"I gonna marry Sa Sa, and kiss her, and dance with her. I gonna have cake and Sa Sa too. We gonna get presents. I gonna get a dinosaur that roars."
Greggers when I asked him if he's going to marry Sadie (of course he is) He kept repeating this all day

"Mom, listen to my barbeque's of faith!"
Hailey's learning a lot in primary

"I think it's like a pond for your snot"
Kenzie's opinion on why we have a divot between our nose and our lips

Hailey pretending to interview me:
"Do you have any stepkids?" "No" "Well you know like kids you want to get rid of like they're really naughty or something."
That'll teach me to tease that I'm sending her to a zoo

"I have a tail! Look, there it is!"
Greggers announced this this morning duirng a diaper change

"Um Mom....you're not a very good cook"
Kenzie when I served her broccoli supreme for dinner

"Ka-chow sit my lap!"
Greggers after putting his Cars stickers on his leg

"Wanna feed him me. Nurse him my tummy too"
Greggers, when Connor was hungry, followed by him jumping in my chair and pulling his shirt up until I put Connor on his tummy to "nurse"

Hailey and McKenzie were playing some sort of made up guessing game. Kenzie said "its something wild" and Hailey yelled "Me!"

" Mom, get a stool, lets get the moon!"

"Yeah they sell cookies"
McKenzie when I asked her if she knows what Girl Scouts do

"Ka-chow, you ok Ka-chow?"
Greg after his Lightening McQueen fell of the ottoman
